The Overview
COMMENTS
Chrila, Swan 56/001 was built as Number 1 of one of the most successful models in Nautor history and specified regardless of cost by Nautor. Besides up-to-date racing equipment and new sails 2021, she also has electrical winches and a furling headsail.
It can be said that no other 56 combines „best of both worlds“ better than this one. Perferct to live on board for a couple, family or even crewed With two seperate areas, an owner forward and crew aft (or kids or 2 families), each with ensuite bathroooms and own access.
The latter providing comfort on a long passage or when there is some rough weather, when there is access to gally, navigation or day-cabin Direct from there with no need to go forward . Boat can be handled from there – ideal also for long passages – without disturbing the owner or crew.
When racing the removable grinder offers speed of handling and seperation of crew sections for better handling. This Cockpit can also be used for al fresco dining under bimini in warmer days.
While Chrila has been used primarily for family and in recent years with owner and son only, it always performed on the podium whenever she entered a race, winning Swan and Swan European Regattas Lovingly cared by owner since almost new, constantly upgraded with sails 2021 and electronics of recent, you can acquire one of the most profiled
In spite of her racing history, the interior of CHRILA has been carefully and beautifully maintained, with full interior padding during racing events. The entire interior was regularly revarnished where damaged/necessary yearly, maintained by professional captain
Chrila did win in almost all races entered, including a win at Rolex Swan World Cup and Swan Baltic Challenge, Kiel Week, Gotland Round and multiple Flensburger Herbstwoche (Full 2017 ORC and IRC Ratings available)
As she cruises the majority of the time with the owner and family, she has all the cruising amenities and comforts. The owner’s cabin is a double to port fwd with a private head & stall shower. Two guest cabins aft can either be used as double cabins or on the portside, there is an optional double berth and on both sides pipe cot, for use during racing
Chrila is featured in the 2014 edition of “Segelyachten” Superyacht 2017 volume by S.Kramer and Nautor History as well as in various Magazines and reports, latest in 11/2017
