The Overview

‘Sarah Mercedes’ is at the top end of the specifications for the Swan 48. She has three full cabins. Additional windows have been added during construction which have enhanced her already light filled interior. Carbon v-boom, top end electronics, satellite communications, bow and stern thrusters, air conditioning throughout…no expense has been spared from her construction and continues today.She is in turn-key condition and all services and upgrades have been performed only by authorised Nautor Swan services.

The interior has been designed to ensure maximum comfort for long periods, both under sail and at anchor. She has beautiful European oak witha white treated surface for the bulkheads, the furniture is in a walnut satin finish with accent furniture in the saloon with a walnut, glossy finish. The floorboards are in walnut with white stripes. With three double cabins, (Owner’s forward cabin, port aft double cabin and twin starboard aft cabin), Sarah Mercedes provides a welcoming environment for her owner and guests. The two bathrooms are built in first grade materials.  The lockers are in wood, the vanity tops are made in Corian and the shower stalls in GRP. Additional leather upgrades include leather pockets in saloon (3 pcs), forward cabin (4 pcs), leather wrapping for overhead and main companionway handrails in saloon, leather wrapping on mast in saloon. There is air conditioning and heating throughout and can be individually controlled by the guests. Fully air-conditioned throughout with individual cabin control panels.
